PATHWAY GROUPS

Discipleship Pathway

People aren’t cookie cutter and neither is their faith journey. Each person’s journey is unique and deeply personal. There is only one way to God the Father, but there are many paths to Jesus Christ. As a church we want to come alongside each person and provide places for them to question, connect, learn, be challenged and serve others. Even though our journeys vary and we all enter the path at different points, there are distinctive markers of growth we should look for along the way.

Starting Point

Starting Point is a conversational small group environment where people can explore faith and experience community. The mission of Starting Point is to lead seekers, new believers, and people who have been disconnected from church into a growing relationship with Jesus by creating an open and accepting environment where they can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point is the ideal small group for those with questions about faith and those who want to learn more about the Bible and Christianity.

End of Religion

A.W. Tozer once asked: “Shall it be religion, or shall it be Christ?” The  two are not one and the same and it’s this question we investigate. Was Jesus’ message more radical than we’ve been led to believe? Has the Christian religion missed the point? The End of Religion contends that the Jesus described in the Bible never intended to found a new religion; instead he hoped to break down the very idea of religion as a way to God. With a fresh perspective on biblical stories, this study paints a picture of the world God originally intended and still desires: a world without religion. This is an opportunity to see Jesus as he’s revealed in the Bible.

Small Groups

We want our small groups to be small enough that you can have a personal experience with Jesus and with others. You can expect to be in a group of about 10-12 people, meeting regularly to get to know each other and – most importantly – get to know Jesus better together through intentional study. Ideally, it is a place to laugh, grow, encourage and be challenged.
