Help us continue to help our region!

It has been an honor to serve our community in the immediate wake of destruction from Hurricane Florence. Although we have a long way to go, we are hopeful as we look ahead to, not only rebuild our cities, but to serve our community in a new way. There are many emerging physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs in our region- and with these needs come the opportunity to be the tangible expression of God’s love to our neighbors unlike ever before.

So far, we have already had the privilege of sheltering and serving meals to 500+ Duke Energy workers at our Wilmington campus who have traveled far and wide to restore power to our area. Our church is joyfully hosting Convoys of Hope to help distribute relief supplies to our community. We are also excited to house our partner organization, Samaritan’s Purse, that will help us organize, train, and mobilize thousands of volunteers through every PC3 campus to bring personalized help to the people (and their homes) in our area who need it the most!

All of this could not be done without the incredible generosity of the people that call Port City Community Church “home”. But in this time, more than ever, we need YOU to partner with us through giving! After the immediate needs from Hurricane Florence are met, and these incredible humanitarian organizations head home, the work isn’t over. For our church, the work really begins as we step into the slow healing process of our community. A financial donation allows us to respond to the most immediate needs of our communities as the needs continue to arise. Our ability to continue responding generously to this crisis will be a reflection of our church body’s faithfulness in giving!

That is why we need YOUR help! For you, that might mean giving to PC3 for the first time in a special donation. Or, this could be the perfect time for you to start tithing regularly to our church. Maybe this is an encouragement to remain a steadfast giver in a season of uncertainty. Or for you, maybe this is a call to give above and beyond your normal offering as a special response in this time of crisis. Regardless of your current situation, we are asking for you to help us continue to help our city! Together, we can be positioned to advance God’s Kingdom in the wake of Hurricane Florence!
